Getting Riptshizzled!

Riptshizzled is a word one of the other ladies used.  We like it.  In 6 months or less I will be riptshizzled.

The fun begins today.  Habit 1—exercise regularly & take a multivitamin & fish oil.  Not a problem.  Krista is my coach.

I had a doctor appt for my foot today…Wore my hot, black dress.  The wart is still there but is almost gone.  I get one more visit with Dr. Hottie in 2 weeks.

Because of the appt I didn’t get to work out this morning…I still have my plates, bar, & rack.  Should have gotten up & done it at home.  I didn’t even think about it until I was half-way to the doctor’s office.  I am going to do at least 3 sets (of 5) tonight when I get home so I won’t have missed  day 1.

I love the lessons!  No nonsense. Do this & you will…

I’ll try to post later about my workout.

Just a forewarning, they are talking about liquid fish oil, even though they don't tell you that until several days in. Some of the women in my group were pissed when they finally told us what kind to buy, as they had gone out and bought pills of varying varieties.

I found Carlson's Lemon to be pretty easy to take mixed in OJ. It's really like drinking lemon Pledge. :)

Enjoy!

Yum-O!

FYI, if you suddenly experience heavy menstrual bleeding, it might mean you need to back off on your fish oil intake. Apparently that can be a side effect, especially amongst us almost-oldsters. I didn't know this until my food scientist training client told me so.

Hmmm, I had no idea, Wendy! And I know I had my period one of the weeks I did the program (of the two whole I lasted, hardy-har) and I recall bleeding like a stuck pig.

The things you don't know... someone should mention it to Berardi. Preferably in person, hehe.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've been taking fish oil for about a year (I started right after Sandi & I visited Wendy last year). I take the pills--several times a day--which has already been addressed by Krista.

Also fortunately, I don't get heavy periods.

I still use pills, when I take it. I'm an on again, off again supplement user...even with multivitamins. I don't mean to be. I just quit. And then one day, I go, "Hey........" lol
