The Venus Index

I have not made the same “no buy” resolution that Tracy has.  I am itching to get more info on this…

The Venus Index

Oh man oh man!  It’s just one more system to read about.  I do not think it will be a magic bullet but I do think it would be an interesting read.  Ack!  No spending money!  It’s $50.  Not that expensive but still…I do not need another program right now.

I’m starting to track my food again.  I haven’t lost weight in 2 weeks so I’m pretty sure I’m eating too much on some days; weekends.  I do really well during the week but come Saturday I don’t eat right…UGH  I don’t think I’m eating that much but I’ve been at 148/150 for more than a month now.  Something is wrong with my diet.

Good marketing...makes you want to pull the trigger just to see what it is. I'm not biting tho. :)

The idea of the program makes me want to punch someone.

But first, I'm wondering where you heard about the program? Just curious. I'm wondering how much buzz there is about it online.

Here's why I am in punch mode.

1. It takes things that you have no control over -- like your basic body shape -- and makes them part of the program.

2. The smiling smartypants dudes promising to help women become Venuses. That really pisses me off. And no I am not PMSing. :D

3. The unnecessary use of big words to make them sound like smartypantses.

4. I hate it when you have to watch/listen to a video/audio presentation. It's manipulative.

There's more, but whatever. :)

There is a long thread about it on VF if anyone is interested. I haven't read it so I have no idea if it is worth wading through or not.

And I think you meant Stacey not Tracy on the "no buy" thing. : )

Oh and I feel you on the eating too much. I am eating too much ALL THE TIME. But I am freakishly hungry so I am just going with it and hoping it ends soon.

Spend the $50.00 on good, clean food. Or a new bathing suit! :-)
