I put one on each foot. With the borrowed socks I was a little uncomfortable in the NB.
I ended up with the Asics. These are the same sneakers I've been wearing for 3 years just "upgraded" every year. They are really comfy & I like the arch support.
If you haven't already done so you really should get gait analysis done. It makes all the difference in the way I feel when I work out.
