Day 3, 31 to go (I was off in my count)

I didn’t post last night because Erin brought Greg home.  He’s a tall, skinny kid that seems pretty nice.  She’s learning what a real date is…He pays for EVERYTHING for her and she likes it.  She is quite smitten.

Aside from the guy—she is more relaxed than we have seen her in a very long time.  She’s no longer on edge all the time.  She’s satisfied with her job, has her cute little car, and is spending more time with her girlfriends.  I hope this lasts.

I missed 1 meal yesterday—I just wasn’t hungry.  Here’s how it played out

3 oz pork loin

½ c edamame

3 oz turkey meatloaf

1 pear

3 oz scallops

1 c zucchini and summer squash

¼ c raisins

Today’s workout was supposed to be 2 giant sets but we overslept and by the time I got to the gym it was filling up.  So I broke it up a little—did a bunch of supersets.

I DID NINETY-FIVE POUND squats!!!!  Four sets of 10 of them!!!  YAY!  My legs should be nice and toasty tomorrow.  I need to increase my weights on my lunges.  I’m pretty sure I could do 25 lb lunges now…I am just a weenie.

I’m going to look into buying a set of power hooks because I am starting to have trouble getting 30-35 lb dumbbells up for chest work.

I walked over to the new gym that I have access to.  It’s considerably smaller than McGuire—probably half the size.  Since I will probably only do 2 weight workouts here I think I will give it a shot and see how it goes.

So far I’ve had:

1 shake

1 c yogurt

½ c berries

3 oz chicken breast

2 c carrots, cabbage, onions, and celery

Low fat/low sodium bullion

(aka homemade chicken soup—yum!)

I’ll try to post tonight—it should be a quieter night.  The boss is back…got to go.

I've been away so long, I've missed the part where Erin broke up with her last boyfriend. I'm happy to hear that she is happier! That's awesome!

And you're doing great! Go Deb! :)
