I managed to complete 8 or 9 reverse chin-ups tonight--was supposed to do 12. My hands hurt more than anything else & I was wearing gloves. I really concentrated on engaging my lats. I think that I felt it more there tonight & the weights I had to use for the rest of the workout prove it. They were down 5 to 10 lbs depending on what I was doing. I have jello arms right now.
After that I did 40 minutes on the elliptical. It didn't hurt my toes at all while doing it but they are a little sore now. Achy.
I still need to do abs tonight but I needed to cool down. I'm going to do it before I climb into bed in a bit.
I'm considering climbing out of bed at 4:00 AM to go meet a couple of girls at the McGuire gym in the morning. One of them is a big girl. She's down 30 lbs in about 3 months. She doesn't limit her food the way she could but she's really doing well. I'm so proud & inspired by her. I don't know what kind of weights she's doing if at all. I know that she has serious health issues -- knee problems, diabetes, asthma, all of the obesity illnesses. I try to encourage her in the steps she is taking to make herself healthier.
John comes home from Annapolis tomorrow. He's got a "photo op" with the company tomorrow for the company newsletter before he can leave but hopes to be on the road by 3:30. He should get home a little after me. YAY!
Off to bed. I'm setting the alarm but might hit the snooze. LOL
