You're wearing those jeans today!

Do any of you know what that means? If not, that means you are too white. Its what a black girl at work told me today. When I asked if I usually show up to work nekkid my assistant laughed at me & informed me that I was paid a compliment; it means my jeans look good on me.

I'm wearing a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear comfortably in quite some time. They are still a 10 but you all know how different jeans can be cut...Even though I only wear Victoria Secret's London Jeans boyfriend cut, I have 4 pair that are all cut very differently. This pair is probably the tightest pair I own. It was awesome to be able to put them on today.

I noticed that if I stand at the right angle I now have a visible line from my breast bone to my belly button. Below that it disappears again (hello peri-menopot).

I've eaten clean every day for the last 10 days. I even behaved myself at lunch today when my assistant & a coworker ordered Chinese. If the scale isn't down on Saturday it will be because I didn't eat enough--I have missed at least 1 meal a day due to the busy-ness of my office. I'm trying. I just eat when I can even if it's not a complete meal but it's clean.

I'm alone tonight. Those nights are always a challenge for me, too. So I just mopped my kitchen floor. I'm going to do my leg workout in about 15 minutes. Then I'm taking my computer & Australia & going to bed.

As it turns out June is best for me for an attempt to get together--I've got to go to San Antonio in May. Again. Not excited about this trip.

Laura, do you know when you will be flying east for your grandfather's birthday?

Marie, how is your schedule in late June?

One of the issues will run into with late June is that Father's Day is June 21. There is a weekend in between but the 4th of July is only 2 weeks later. We could shoot for that time frame.

Or later in July. Thoughts?

DB deadlifts from the floor: 25 lb DBS
Farmer's walk: 45 lbs for 60 steps, 56 steps, 45 steps (that's total)
Romanian deadlifts: 55 lbs
Hamstring curls: 25(3)/30

I wanted to walk more during the farmer's walks but I couldn't hold the DBs. My hands just couldn't hold the DBs any longer. AND the DBs were banging my legs. I'm sure I'm going to have bruises. Anything for fitness. LOL

WOOT!!!!! on the jeans and the 1- days of clean eating, Deb! You are doing so, so well on the Wendy plan.

I'm not sure when I will be coming East for my grandfather's birthday, or if it even makes sense to try to combine it with a trip to ME. I might just have to fly out twice since I know Paul will want to come with me when we go to see my grandfather since we can combine that with a visit to his mother in western VA and a visit to his dad in Knoxville.

Late June may work, it depends on how late. We are going to LA July 1, I think, and not sure when the kids actually get out of school, so hopefully it would be somewhere in those last two weeks of the month, but prior to July.
