Tampa

I'm going to Tampa to do a site visit & inspection. I leave on Wednesday; return on Friday. Could the weather be nice for me? Oh no. It's going to be in the 60s during the day, 30s at night. Dang!

We'll be staying at The Quorom Hotel. I'm looking forward to the evening massage.

I didn't workout again yesterday because HOLY MOLY my legs STILL hurt. Yesterday they were still so bad I was getting back spasms when I was out doing my weekend errands. I'm much better today. I will be going considerably lighter with my weights when I do legs tomorrow night. I want to get my weight workouts in before I go because the fitness center appears to have only dumbbells. I'll get at least 1 cardio workout while I'm there.

I'm prepared for the week (all 2 days I'm here) food wise. I'm trying a new Greek yogurt. It's Chobani. It's $0.50 less expensive than Fage & my grocery store always has the fat free but they are often out of Fage.

Oh & I can take some cereal & protein powder with me. I checked the airline rules for carry on stuff. Only liquids are prohibited.

Today's workout consists of back & shoulders & some HIIT on the elliptical. Wendy has me doing 5 sets of 8 this week. I found that I had to make tick marks after each set when I did this for my arms on Thursday. I lost track of myself in my music.

Came back to add my workout & food info...

I have turkey chili--1 cup w/lots of beans (black, kidney, pinto) & onions & peppers; vegi soup (WW Zero Point take off--way more variety of vegis), 3 oz chicken seasoned with fajita seasoning, tuna with onions & celery, boiled shrimp, & eggs. I'll eat a salad with low-fat ceasar dressing (I think it's Neuman's Own or Ken's Steakhouse). I will also have 1 c shredded wheat/bran. Oh & I think I'll take a yogurt--the Chobani is just as good as Fage IMO.

My workout (as I said earlier 5 sets of 8):

BB bent over rows: 45(1)/50(4)
Pull downs: 45(3)/50(2)
Lat sweeps: 20(1)/25(1)/20(2)/25(1)
DB military press: 8(1)/10(4) I felt really strong doing these.
DB side raises: 5(5) my shoulder pops & creaks when I do these. It's really gross. LOL

I finsihed strong with 7 HIIT intervals--1 min fast/2 min recovery:

bike
jacks
jump rope
squat thrusts
crazy running in circles
speed skaters
ski hops

I rode the bike for my recovery period. It was fun.

Okay off to bed now.

I would just be careful of the protein powder in case it resembles an illegal substance.
