Yep, too heavy, too soon. I can barely walk today. It's DOMS not injury but if I had tried to work out today I would probably be injured.
Sandi!!! I LOVE KALE. John loves kale. Erin loves kale. She thinks its pretty. All curly & green. LOL I'm going to buy more this weekend.
If I feel better tomorrow I will do some of the functional fitness prescribed in Wendy's plan. It's going to be snowing so I won't be able to get out to sprint. I'm going to use the elliptical to at least go REALLY, REALLY fast.
When John leaves on Sunday I'm going to cook & weight & measure for the coming week.

Hahahahahahahaha! That leg workout is particularly effective :)
Don't bother replacing the sprints -- they aren't in the workout for cardio but as more of an explosive strength move.

How do you cook kale??
Sandi has suggested steaming or sauteed with onion. Eat it raw in a salad (cut out the big center stem--it's pretty tough).
It's grown in sand so it needs to be rinsed REALLY REALLY well. Even after rinsing 3 times I still had some grit. I will be rinsing it better this time out.
