Kale

I bought some tonight after reading Sandi's blog. I decided to try something new. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. Suggestions?

I took a pill at 2 AM this AM & slept until 7. Yes, only 7.

I just spent an hour cutting up vegis & still have more to do but I'm tired. I'm going to bed.

Wendy, I'm eating clean. Not measuring everything but most everything. And I'm not journaling. No junk has passed my lips since Sunday AM. It's my goal to start journaling & measuring perfectly again by Thursday. I say that because I've got a lot to do tomorrow but I PROMISE (myself) I'm staying clean & light. When I do start journaling again, I'll be using www.fitday.com; I'll be sending you my password.

Sounds like my email back to you ended up in your junk folder. ;-)

I chop my kale up raw, and mix it into salad (spinach or green leaf); or I wilt it in a pan and eat it with my eggs. Either way, just remove the bulky stem that runs through the middle.

Some people like it stir fried with onions, and I think it tastes really great with yam. (Yam cooked separately, eaten as same time as raw or wilted kale.)
