Snow in October

We got some heavy flurries today. It didn't stick but it sure did come down.

Marie, are you having to dig out?

I did NROL-O tonight. First night with 3 sets of 12 with a 60 second rest. Played out like this

Squats: 3x12 @ 95 -- I'm going to increase the weight up to 100 lbs next week
Seated rows: 1x12 @ 50, 2x12 @ 55 -- I need to try to increase here, too
Hip Extensions on the ball: 3x12 DONE
DB Push-press: 2x12 @ 10, 1x12 @ 12 Can anyone tell me what the point of the little squat is in this exercise? It's just stupid. I do it but I think it's stupid.
Rotational lunges: 1x12 @ 15, 2x12 @ 20 This is done with a single dumbbell because I feel it gives me better control
Planks: 3x1 minute DONE I replaced the swiss-ball crunches because I hate ordinary crunches.

My diet has been pretty much the same. I did get some sugar-free caramel sauce that has 90 calories per 2 tbsp serving that I've been adding to my cottage cheese(or yogurt)-apple-cinnamon mix. I hope it doesn't counter act anything on me. What's 45 calories a day? Should I cut it out?

I made the mistake of getting on the scale tonight -- dressed in yoga pants, sports bra, & sneaks. STUPID STUPID STUPID I hate what the scale says at night.

I am going to have John take pictures this weekend. I'll post them along side the old ones for side by side comparison. It will be interesting to see if we can see the improvements the measuring tape says I have.

This time I'm going to get really anal about how the pictures are taken so that I can take pictures in the exact same location next time. Silly? Yeah, whatever. I want to really be able to tell what I'm doing to my bod.

The Phillies will finish the 5th game tomorrow. Hope they put this thing to bed. I'm tired from staying up to watch 'em.
