Saturday

It's cloudy & humid--or would you call it damp since it's not hot. We were supposed to go out for a ride this morning but the weather is too crappy. And that's just fine with me! I would rather stay home & do some cleaning & relax.

The plan is to do some laundry, vacuum, dust, etc...John's got the bathroom. Exciting, right? After that I'll workout & then just chill in front of the television with a movie. We've got Flight 93 & Anchorman. We're supposed to go roller skating tonight with some friends--their 10 yo's school is having a free skate. I don't know if I want to go & hang out with a bunch of little kids.

I'm doing my final Stage 1 workout today. I didn't get 4 cardio workouts in this week. We were out too many nights. So, I'm doing one today & one tomorrow just to make sure I get more in. I looked over Stage 2 again today. It looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to tackling it.

Yesterday my diet was on target with the exception of forgetting 1 protein. I didn't bother trying to get it in. I'm going to start putting my meals together for the week later today.

Dang, my blog is boring.

Deadlifts: 65 lbs, 18 reps
DB Overhead Press--12 lbs, 20 reps
Wide-grip pull-downs--40 lbs, 20 reps
DB Lunges--15 lbs, 20 reps
Swiss-ball crunches--20 (I just got bored)

I did the 6 of the 12 exercises in the All Body Xpress that comes with the trainer. It kicks ass, too. I don't like that there is no rest between the exercises -- I made my own. I had a really hard time with the "chest press;" I was wobbling all over the place. I know that will come with time but holy crap!

I'm sitting here eating cottage cheese with a macintosh apple & cinnamon. I don't know why I never tried this until recently. I really like it!

Dang I really am boring!
