ETA: I posted this while I was still in shock & really didn't have any details.

We've just come home from Big Mike & Patty's (his parents). Big Mike is our heating & cooling guy. Even after the kids broke up, Big Mike & Patty & John & I stayed friends.

What we now know is that Young Mike had just gotten his motorcycle about 3 months ago. He had just gone out for a ride & hit a guy that RAN A RED LIGHT. The article doesn't say that. It sounds a little like Young Mike hit the car. Yeah, no.

The police were out investigating today. Erin saw them but didn't know what was happening until she ran into Lauren (Young Mike's younger sister).

Erin said she saw Lauren at Kinko's & was like, "HEY LAUREN!!! What's up?" Erin said Lauren looked at her like she didn't know who Erin was & then Lauren told her what happened.

This just sucks. It really, really sucks.
