Here's my journal from yesterday...

I need more protein...

My Food Journal

Gonna have to try some protein shakes. I'm also going to eat more berries.

I'll be cleaning the old apartment with Jennifer today. I'll turn the keys in tomorrow.

Okay, here's something in what might be considered the TMI category...

When I run I get chafed in my armpits. My left arm pit is chafed so badly I think I'm going to have to talk to my doctor tomorrow. It burns when I put deodorant on. It looks horrible. Fortunately I don't lift my arms over my head in public.

I don't think you should be embarrassed. I think that's a common problem with runners, only I've heard inner thigh chafing is the worst. Aren't you supposed to use vaseline (or some similar product) for prevention? Also, perhaps you need to buy a different shape/size top? Could it be the fabric or the way it fits that's bothersome to your skin?

Um, Deb? You only ate **567** calories? Did you not log everything? Or is that adjusted after activity or something?

Hmm, will this work? I've posted two comments, neither of which are up.

Well, crap, I changed the way my comments are handled & made them so I had to publish everyone's comments. Yeah, I'm changing that back...

I think the underarm chafing is due to either my weight gain or my deodorant. I'm wearing the same workout clothes I've always worn but did change my deodorant this year. I love it--Mitchem--because it doesn't leave white marks on my clothes like the others that say they won't but do.

And double crap, I guess the journal is only showing today's food entries. That's stupid.

Two words: BODY GLIDE!!!!! Use it in any chafe zone. I have imperfect inner thighs, and comfortably ran a marathon in a skirt, thanks to BG. It's that good. Most running/tri stores will have it (Fleet Feet should), or you could get it online (RoadRunnerSports among other places).
