migraines & stuff

I woke up with a killer headache today.  Not really a full blown migraine; I'm not photosensitive or nauseous.  But it hurts like hell to move my head.  No, it's not a hangover.  LOL  I've taken 2 Excedrin Migraine & just took 2 Tylenol.  Hope it goes away.

We met with George yesterday.  He thinks we are making wise decisions about my moving back in.  He doesn't pull any punches and gives great advice which I try to follow.  Not just because he's our pastor but because I respect his opinion as a person.  

My uncle (mom's younger brother) had a massive heart attack last Saturday.  He's been on life support since.  My mom just called to tell me they are pulling his life support today.  He's a couple years younger than Mom.  I don't really know him.  He joined the Army when I was in 1st or 2nd grade & wasn't around much.  He has been up to visit my grandmother over the last year but it's like having a stranger around.  I'm sad for my mom but otherwise it's just another of life's events.  Very surreal because in my head I think I should feel something but I don't.   

I'm not going to get outside to run today.  It is cold as a witch's teet.  I only managed 3 sets of 8 squats & 1 set of lunges yesterday.  I got ambitious & used a 65 lb bar.  My legs were screaming when I tried to do lunges with 20 lb dumbs.  I was going to attempt a set of step ups & my inner thigh hurt so bad I was afraid of an injury so...Today I have a nice tightness but nothing to get excited about.  Tomorrow I will do the treadmill.  My goal is to push to 3.5 miles.  

Oh, here's the really big & exciting news!!!  I got a Wii!!!!  I won it on e-bay.  I know I paid too much but you know what?  I don't care.  I got tired of trying to find one in the stores & just fooled around on e-bay the other night for about 30 minutes & won it!  John is going to buy me DDR & a second nunchuck.  Erin wants to buy Mario & Sonic Olympics.  I'm a big Mario fanatic so I'll probably buy another Mario adventure at some point in the future.
