Arthrogram

Okey dokey...I should have done my research & how stupid that I didn't. This hurt like hell! I knew that dye would be injected. What I didn't know is that they actually numb the surface, then numb deeper, then they insert a needle into the joint. SON OF A BITCH! Even after the lidocaine was injected I could feel the needle being moved around. The needle is left in the joint & then they inject the dye. Obviously the MRI didn't hurt.

I'll be taking the disk with my shoulder on it to work tomorrow & we'll see what they have to say. I'll let you know.

I'm glad you got it over with, Deb. I am also glad you posted about it here. I was wondering about you today!

Looking forward to hearing the diagnosis/plan of attack.

Um, ok, it took me a minute to figure out how your shoulder literally ended up sitting on a disc, hah. I'm sorry it hurt so much! Hopefully you will at least get answers.

p.s. I think it's good you didn't know what you were getting into at the arthrogram .... would have made you even more nervous/worried.
