I listen thinking it’s probably some promo for the blood bank he works for. It was Big Girls Don’t Cry.
Me: What’s your point? Is that your new thing song?
Him: Exactly. You’ve picked you fight. I hope you’re happy. Later.
Now I’m like WTF?
Me: Are you threatening me?
Him: NOT AT ALL! Is that what you do? Take everything positive & turn it negative. Deb, you’ve been picking fights with me since we met. I think it’s time you go your way and I’ll go mine. For your information that was the Jersey Boys. I have a pair of tickets. I guess you won’t be going with me to see them.
Me: First, if you had said that you have a pair of tickets to see the Jersey Boys I would have responded with, “who?” I wouldn’t have known they are the artist of that song.
Second, you are the one that said I picked a fight. I simply asked what your point in sending me a song was. Thought my response was pretty humorous myself.
Third, I have told you we are not going out again.
Finally and most importantly I have gone my way, Tony, I wish you would go yours. I wish you the best in your new career.

I just about peed myself laughing. Good goddess what is wrong with that man? And isn’t it sad that I am the only person that he can turn to when he has tickets to see a has been band. Okay so maybe it’s arrogant of me to think that but I really do think I’m the only person he could think of to ask. I don’t think he has any friends. But I’m sure that what this boils down to is that I won’t have sex with him.
How pathetic.

This morning I did a killer chest & arm workout. Still going lighter to regain some of the strength I may have lost from my 3 weeks off but good none the less.
Incline DB press 20 lbs
BB press 65 lbs
DB flyes 20 lbs
DB curls 15 lbs
BB skull crushers 35 lb bar
Cardio consisted of
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds reptile
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds mountain climbers
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds plank with cross knee tucks (tuck 1 knee across your torso)
For time (took 2 minutes & change)
25 half burpees
25 squat jumps with a twist (turn around mid-air)
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds reptile
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds mountain climbers
10 seconds plank on elbow
30 seconds plank with cross knee tucks (tuck 1 knee across your torso)
For a total of 10 minutes & change. When I do that again I will probably do the “for time” segment again. My shoulders are FRIED & made it really hard to do the reptile/mountain climber/cross knee tuck parts.
I finished up with 10 minutes on the cross-trainer. The TV on the Arc trainer wasn’t working dammit!
I need a battery for my heart rate monitor watch. I’m really curious what is happening with my hr.

I don’t know yet. That’s not good.
Oh my job interview got postponed until 3:00 PM. Will let you know how it goes tonight.
