I hit the gym with a revived (again) spirit today. I hit the weights hard & the cardio fast. I kicked ass! Though really my workouts have never been the problem…Diet on the other hand—I have hand-to-mouth disease.
Despite how busy my weekend was I managed to get my lunches measured out for the next couple of days. I haven’t uploaded the spreadsheet yet because I’m still fine tuning it…Hopefully I’ll get it up over the weekend be able to share it with you. I am particularly pleased because I think it will make all of my life that much easier for planning meals. I’ve planned everything out for this week & hope to do better.
Wendy posted that she wishes we could all go up & play for a few days. I’ve been wanting to get back up there but have not used my leave wisely this year so it’s going to be a while before I can. However, I wanted to share something that I have been thinking about since John & I went to the Cape last weekend.
While we were there John & I were able to take a long walk on the beach. We passed a group of about 6 women (older than we are) grouped together laughing & walking. They weren’t anywhere near as fit as we are. LOL I immediately thought about how much fun it would be for all of us to get together & do something.
I wondered if we could plan something for down the road so that we could coordinate schedules & such. We know that Wendy doesn’t fly so it would be best to keep it on the east coast. I would even be up for going back to Maine so that we could play in the gym—though I would think Wendy should take some time off, too. We could rent a bunch of rooms & hang out & have fun. Thoughts?
I hit legs today. I did 4 sets of 10 BB squats at 115! I finished up by doing one of Cathy Savage’s quick (28 minutes+5 minute cool down) but brutal cardio workouts. It was fun.
I will load the meal plan spreadsheet I created tonight. I’ve got it in google docs but am having trouble accessing it to link it here. I can’t wait to get your input.
