8 days!!!

I can’t believe it’s almost here!


I posted on facebook but have to tell you about my workout this morning…I intended to do a functional but woke up this morning with a knot in the lower, right side of my back.  I was afraid that doing cartwheels (okay not really) would be too much so I got on the arc trainer.  I did a 5 minute warm up & 15—1x1 intervals.  When I finished I felt pretty good & my back didn’t feel cramped anymore so I decided to throw in a bout of Tabata.  The gym was dead today—with the nice weather I guess people took it to the road.  I decided to use one of the empty treadmills & do sprints using my handy-dandy Tabata timer on my iPhone. 


I started off with a 2 minute walk at 4 MPR & then kicked it up to 6.0 for 20.  That didn’t do it  for me so I kicked it up to 7.  Still nothing.  Oh yeah, mother trucker?  We’re going all the way 8 MPH!!!  By the time I was finished I was dripping sweat & had completed .65 miles in 4 minutes.  I was feeling GROOVY!  I can’t wait to do it again!


Eating is going well.  I made a new list for the grocery store.  I’m excited about eating turkey ham & chicken sausages!!!!


It’s official & there will be no backing out…Come July I will be a part of the PN Lean Eating Program!
