The waiting is the hardest part

We have phone lines that we can call all over the world without dialing an area code. When we receive phone calls from those lines it shows up on the telephone as 2701-01. Every single time.

Every time my phone rang today with that number I HOPED & PRAYED that it would be Office of Personnel Management with my job offer.

Alas it was not.

There is nothing I can do to make this go faster. All I can do is wait. Be patient & wait.

Ufuckers need to do the job & make me a job offer.

On the workout front I think I'm going back to either Cathy's or Wendy's plans. I cannot be bothered with looking up all these freaking exercises. Or maybe I'll try Berardi's women's body transformation. I don't know.

I'm in a place where I'm struggling with my motivation. I loosened up for the holidays & gained 6 lbs--could have been MUCH worse. I'm struggling to get back on track with my eating. I have 9 weeks until my trip. You would think that would be motivation enough but...nope.

Hence the NEED to get it back on track. I just need the motivation.

Have you taken a picture of yourself in a bathing suit? That was all the motivation I needed.

You seemed to have enjoyed Cathy's workouts.... You can't go wrong with Wendy either.

I hope you find your MOJO soon, Deb. You really were killin' the workouts before the holidays!

I vote for Wendy's workouts. "Customized to you" is always better than one-size-fits-all, at least when it's an expert trainer who's doing the customizing. I've actually got some reservations about the Body Transformation program: it's good for those with excellent stability in through the hips and shoulders, who can already do pistol squats and heavy dumbbell snatches with no problems. If that sounds like you it'd be a good choice but if you're not quite there yet you might be happier with something else.

On the other hand, it might be kind of fun to see the look on Ernie's face as you go through some of the exercises. I pretty much guarantee he'll be freaked out by the corner presses and rows!
