Workout & weighing

The library here has uncensored access to the internet. I'm 6 blocks from the library. It's an incredibly beautiful day & the walk was GORGEOUS!

Still obsessed with the freaking scale. Whatever. I got on after breakfast; fully dressed; with sneakers. 151. I'll take that. That means the damage I did with my comfort food eating & not working out wasn't as bad as I had feared. I just wonder why my jeans are so tight. Dang.

I'm not crazy about the workouts I've gotten from Cathy don't impress me. I feel like I'm doing "girly" workouts. I don't know maybe I just need to give them time.

I still have a bit of a headache but that could be due to lack of caffeine. I haven't had a real cup of coffee since getting here. The withdrawals will probably stop in soon. I hope.

Anyway, I'm finally feeling better (obviously) and moving more. I feel good.

The workouts you will get from Cathy aren't as intense as the ones I've been giving you, but that doesn't mean they won't work! I promise ya! Go fast and hard. The fast part will keep the intensity up, it's good for leaning down. :D

You probably are just holding water from being sick and the extra carbs.

Yay! I am glad you are feeling better. Hopefully this week will be cake compared to last week.

My impression with the workouts was the same as yours. When do we get to lift the real weights?

Glad to read your feeling better and that you were satisfied with the reading on the scale.

You know, most programs seem to phase in with a light rep phase, I think to condition the joints for heavier work. Maybe that's her thinking with this program? I guess since it's one-size-fits-all, she can't assume any prior experience. I'd give it a couple of weeks before squeaking too loudly.

(((Deb))) Glad you are feeling better. My thought on the 'tightness' is the same as Wendy's. Unfamiliar food, travel, sickness = bloat. It won't last!!
