I can't find my blogged measurements from last month but here's a summary. My waist is down 1/2", my hips are down 1/2", my boobs are down 1/4" (yeah, who wants to lose boobage), my thigh is down 1/2", and my bicep is also down 1/2"!~!!!!!
I'll post pictures on the private edition later.
Tomorrow is the big run. Then I'm back to training with weights. I can't wait. Last year I recovered really quickly & I didn't train as hard as I have this year. I hope to be able to hit the weights on Tuesday but Wednesday at the latest.
ETA: While I was still pissed off I sent an email to the person that left the vacant slot at work & asked if she knew anything about it. She called herself my friend & I, naively, believed her.
Turns out that this "by-name" situation was being worked on as early as January. They had a choice to make changes to the job description & made them to fit this individual.
FUCKERS.
I like the work I do & most of the people I work with. Most of the people involved will be gone within a year. I am working very hard to remind myself of these things so I don't do something stupid.
I got my performance appraisal on Thursday. I got a decent bonus & they put in writing that I'm supervising now. Because I'm supervising they have to promote me. I've got to figure out how to do enforce that so that they promote me & don't say that I'm not supervising anymore.
On the other hand, I'm not sure any of this is worth fighting.

And WTG on your measurements! All your hard work is really paying off.
That sucks about the situation at work, but what can you do? This sort of thing seems to happen in every workplace. Le sigh. At least you're getting *some* recognition for the fantastic work you do, even if it's less than you deserve. Again, le sigh.
