Freakin' jump squats with burpees!

This workout kicks my ass every single time. I love it! The last exercise of the first giant set is jump squats with burpees. They make me suck wind. I did the workout without music & actually found that I felt like I was done quicker than if I had music going. Weird.

Tonight Romeo watched me workout. When I got to the jump squats with burpees he thought I was doing them just for him. He bounced up & down at me barking like crazy. It made me laugh & that made it really hard to get through 10 of them.

The second giant set starts off with 2 minutes of jump rope. I did the first round without the rope. I didn't feel it so I got out the rope. The second & third sets were okay. The last set was almost an exercise in futility. I spent more time tripping over the rope than actually jumping it. My jumps are slow & steady but it gets my heartrate up better than without the rope.

Someone please tell me why I keep typing "roap" instead of rope?

Anywho, it was a good workout. I like it. Eating was good today.
