You can ring my bell...

Last night as I was just really getting into my workout I managed to bang my head. HARD. Here's what happened...

You've seen the squat rack/pully system we own in my photos...I moved the bar from the back side of the rack to the front so that I could move smoothly through pull downs, squats, high rows with the rope (3 of the 5 exercises for this giant set). I did the pull downs. I did the squats & put the bar away. I did the rope pulls. As I turned around to go do the next exercise I ran smack into the bar.

I hit the bar so hard John thought I had dropped the bar. I was on my knees on the floor. Crying. I had a huge knot that is now nothing but a bruise. I have a low grade head ache that may or may not be related--I'm fighting a cold.

I was online later--sending Wendy an email asking her a question about how I was supposed to do one of the exercises & I also had facebook open. My friend Leanne was online. She appreciates a good laugh so I told her what happened.

She asked if I saw stars. I told her not only did I see yellow stars, I saw blue moons & green clovers. She started laughing...Oh wait, that's Lucky Charms. HAHAHAHA

I managed to stay out of the candy dish today. I will do the complete workout I started last night tonight.

Oh, no, feel better!

And of course I immediately thought "concussion" and "please go to the hospital so you don't die in some bizarre squat rack mishap."
