Sunday

Have I told you how much I love doing the workouts Wendy is providing for me? Really. I feel worked every time & in my head she's hear coaching me; pushing me to lift heavier & watch my form.

It rained today so I didn't get out to do my functional fitness & am completely bummed. I don't have 30 ft in my house to do what Wendy wants me to do. Can you imagine? LOL I'm going to do it Tuesday night when I do my next upper body workout.

I felt pretty off today...I was dehydrated as hell. It was 3:30 before I had my first bottle of water. WTF is wrong with me? We were so busy running around that I didn't think about it until we were at Best Buy where I bent over to pick something up & the room spun out on me. At first I didn't know what it was then I remembered...DOH!

I've had plenty to drink since then & feel much better.

Tonights workout:

One-arm bentover row: 25 lb DB
Lat pulldown: 50(2)/55(3)
Overhead press: 12 lb DB
One-arm DB side raise: 10
BB Front raises: 22.5 lbs (I have cute little 1.25 lb weights)

Abs:

reverse crunches
oblique twists
crunches
Romanian twists w/6 lb medicine ball

I have no imagination when I'm tired & just want to finish.

Tomorrow is legs! I love to work my legs!!!!

Great job! It's wonderful that Wendy inspires you that way. I think that makes such a difference.

You and the other members of the posse all have that effect on me. So often when I don't feel like working out, I just ask myself, "What would Deb/Sandi/Wendy/Marie/Rose do?" And then I do it.

I think when Wendy gets a moment I shall be tapping her programming expertise, too. Only, do you need a gym for what you're doing? Because I'm thinking about making equipment investments (or else joining the much posher gym in these parts), but it has to be one or the other this year...
