Back on track (I think)

Today was a VERY good food day. I spent the day yesterday making turkey/vegetable chili & chopping vegis for salads & snacks. My eating was 100% clean today. I even managed to eat breakfast BEFORE work. I had a bowl of cheerios (I hope they are okay because they are multigrain) & a banana. Once I got to work I ate a plain Greek yogurt. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like plain yogurt.

Laura, you don't sound like you're nagging. You didn't say anything at all that I don't already know. I just fail at putting it into action & tend to come up with excuses. I know that in order to achieve the goals I have I have to just suck it up & get it done. All of the reading & all of the coaching isn't going to get it done. I know I just need to do it.

I think I just needed to reach a point where I am REALLY ready to do it. Like quitting smoking. I just had to be "in the mood." I did that & haven't looked back.

I am finally "in the mood." I even sat in an office that had M&Ms & Hershey's kisses right in front of me. I had NONE!!! With no problem.

Deb, you know, I have the same problem as you and sometimes I am convinced it's self-sabotage, in that when I am eating clean I am probably not eating enough calories, or maybe I'm being too restrictive, and therefore when I go overboard I go WAAAAY over, KWIM?

Anyway, just a thought. I'm glad you are back on track!!
