Merry Boxing Day

Here I am trying to decide what to do with the stuff we got for Christmas--leave it alone for a day or two or put it away because I won't be home much over the next week and a half (I'll tell you about that in a minute).

First, let me thank you all for your support & well wishes while I was sick. I'm FINALLY back to about 95%. As long as I keep my sinuses hydrated (saline spray) I feel 100%. I'm ready to start working out again!!! Today I plan to take a run around the block -- my block is 1.32 miles.

We made out pretty well. John got me a bathrobe, slippers, Joey & Rory CD (thanks to Sandi for introducing me to them), & a pair of pink Go-Fit workout gloves (mine have big holes in them). I gave John an Under Armor cold-gear compression mock turtleneck (even with a few extra pounds this guy has an incredible build & looks so good in this stuff!!!), Tiger Woods golf for Wii, & a bottle of Milagro Reposado tequila. Erin gave me a fondue pot!!! I am going to use it this weekend & retire it until March when we are planning a wine & cheese party. I was impressed with her research into this. She made sure she got me a good one & also found a really great recipe book.

I said I'm not going to be home much over the next week and a half...Tomorrow we're going to see my nephew. I love to go see him. He's a great kid. John goes back to DC on Sunday. I'm going to join him down there on Wednesday. I won't be back here until Sunday. I'll be bringing some clothes to workout in but will have limited equipment available to me.

Hope all of you had a very merry Christmas.

You sound so much better! That makes me happy!

I LOVE that Joey + Rory CD! I downloaded it from iTunes, and nearly wore it out. A bit slow, but so pretty. I can't decide if my favorite is "Heart of the Wood" or "Rodeo". (Mostly because it's rodeo that keeps pulling J to want to move back to Yakima.)

Oh, I'm so glad you're feeling better, Deb! Your Christmas sounded wonderful, and I hope you and John enjoy some hard-earned R&R. Are you planning to do anything in DC? Hit some museums or something?

Have a great time!! xox
