I made chicken soup this morning. Erin called me & opened the conversation with, "You must be a mind reader." When I asked why she told me that she has been wanting chicken soup for days. What a great phone call.
What great chicken soup. I put something like 9 skinless, boneless breasts in the big crockpot. I cut up an entire package of celery, 2 backages of carrots, & 2 whole onions (last night). I put them in the pot with 14 Herbox bullion cubes & the cold juices from 2 Costco roast chickens (fat skimmed off). I covered the entire mess with water & set to "auto."
When I got home tonight I pulled the chicken out & had so much shredded chicken that I put some in the freezer for pulled chicken wraps & chicken chili next week. Pretty smart, huh?
I had a 2 cup bowl about 3/4 filled. I added steamed zucchini & yellow squash & 1/2 c rice for a complete meal. I think it was the best soup I've ever made!
I'm going to take measurements tomorrow night before dinner. I want to see how much damage I'm doing to my fat stores. Hopefully I'm doing well. I did get on the scale right after my trip--I had gone back up to 164 but I am hopeful that it was water retention because I wasn't drinking enough water. I haven't gotten back on the scale since.
Tonight I will do FLI B. Because I'll be doing 3 sets of 15, I'll be reducing my weight from 65 lbs to 55 lbs for deadlifts; just to be on the safe side for my back. After, I am going to do Rachel's Get Metabolic mix.

sounds delish! yumyumyum.
Can I eat at your house?
Not to be the buzzkill, but are the Herbox bouillon cubes salt free? Because generally, any kind of bouillon cubes or powdered soup stuff are very high in salt, which may screw with your water retention tomorrow. Sounds like great soup, though.
