Water & such

Yeah, I'm drinking enough water--close to 12 glasses a day depending on if I work out or not. My big thing is learning which carbs are better for me. Tonight for example, I planned on eating 1/2 c brown rice but when I compared the nutrients of it to Kashi 7 Grain Pilaf, I found that the kashi had more fiber & less calories. So...I am now cooking some Kashi & yes I know it's "billed" as a cereal but I've convinced John & Erin it's for dinner. LOL

I am re-thinking my lunches. I am SICK of salads but need something easy. Anyone ever microwave fresh broccoli &/or cauliflower? I suppose I could steam it, refrigerate it, & zap it.

I bought some sweet potatoes last week & made shoestring oven fries. OH MY GOD!!! It was like eating candy. We are definitely doing that again.

I really should use the meal planner on gyminee. It would help me get my macros better & I know a plan is better.

Oh & today I added 2 tsp cocoa powder to designer whey, stevia & plain yogurt. It was almost like a chocolate shake--just not quite. I'm thinking for the additional 15 calories, I'll go ahead & add 2 tbsp & 2 stevia to see if it is better.

I'm not doing any intervals yet because the program doesn't call for them until Stage 2 but I am thinking of just doing it next workout to boost the old fat machine into overdrive.

As for Erin, yeah I'm letting it go but it SUCKS!!! I am really struggling with this.
