Headache

I've eaten something that has given me a headache. Or the weather here has really kicked me in the head. It's definitely sinus cuz I'm currently a mouth breather. Sigh.

So far today...

breakfast
Shredded Wheat & bran squares (no sugar added)
3/4 c milk (between coffee & cereal)
3/4 c cottage cheese (1%)
1/2 c blueberries
Yum

snack
1/2 c plain ff yogurt
1/2 c strawberries
sweetened with stevia

lunch
3 oz tuna (canned in water)
1 tbsp light Helmans mayo
2 cup raw spinach (figure 1 cup cooked would be about double raw)
ETA: 1 Arnold Whole Grain Sandwich Thin

snack (in an hour)
2 oz turkey breast
1 c baby carrots (those suckers are hard to measure!)

We're hitting Salad Works for dinner cuz we're going to the bike shop to get the bike it's annual check-up. No full-fat dressing or breads for me.

I feel pretty good. I'm having trouble eating "meals," mostly I'm eating when I can. I get pretty hungry about an hour after eating. My fat intake is exactly what you see. Nothing added. AT ALL. Should I add some?

When I was doing over-unders (see Rachel's plan) last night, I could see POTENTIAL in my abs. Even with this huge layer of fat, I could see a 6 pack when I swung my leg over. It was very encouraging.

Speaking of doing the HIIT last night--I didn't do it exactly as laid out on the site. I did 1 full minute, rested 2 minutes, moved on to the next exercise, 1 full minute, rested 2. It took me 35 minutes to get through 12 exercises. Rachel said that it should take 28 minutes (in response to a question on the forum) to go through the first round.

ETA: for dinner I had a Nicois salad with fat free dressing & substituted the pasta with more greens. I ate 1/2 the whole grain bread.

I did NROL4W Special Workout A tonight. Here's how I did...

Squats--20 Reps @ 95 lbs
Seated Rows--20 Reps @ 60 lbs
Push-ups 10 big girl, 10 on my knees
Step-Ups 11 reps @ 60 lbs
Pikes 12 reps (these aren't pikes a la Cathe--only bringing my knees in--I suck at them!)

I jokingly pulled a pose after & John commented that I'm "getting guns." Yeah, that's cuz my arms are so fat. Sigh. BUT I'M WORKING ON IT!

Tomorrow I'm going to use my suspension trainer for HIIT. That should be FUN!

Hope the head feels better!!!

As far as I can see from your meal plan here, every meal except your morning snack has a little fat in it already, so you're doing very well. :)

You ARE incorporating a good fat into your meal plan, aren't you? (I don't see it here.)

Usually I have a handful (actually 1 oz weighed) of almonds or some natural (YUM BTW) peanut butter when I get home while I'm cooking dinner. I've been forgetting to add that. Tuesday night, I think, I had salmon for dinner. But just the one serving.

Feeling much better today, thanks.
