So after I had lost a ton of weight last winter I was thinking about buying some new jeans. I thought--Wendy & Marie love their Lucky's so I should try them. I went to the store in Marlton...
It went something like this...
Hi, what can I help you find today?
I'm looking for jeans. (duh, rolls eyes & almost says that outloud)
What size Luckys do you wear?
Um, never tried them on...no clue.
Well, you look like a 6. What kind of fit do you like?
I like more room in my thighs without sagging in the butt.
Okay, try these on... she hands me 3 pairs of jeans
I go into the room, can't even get the first pair up past my knees. WTF is she thinking?
Pair number 2 won't even button.
Pair number 3 will button but is so tight I can't breathe.
She proceeds to throw more at me in size 8.
Yeah, still too tight in my thighs.
Three times I said, looser in the thighs please.
In her desperate attempt to make the sale she she kept throwing different pants at me & I finally got frustrated enough for me to just put my pants back on thank her for the help & leave.
I'll never go back again.
I had a big juicy burger last night. Bad me.
This morning I hit the commissary for cottage cheese (1%), non-fat plain yogurt, and humus. Yum! I tried to find humus made with olive oil as suggested by Lou & Cassandra but no, canola oil was all that I could find. Better than hydrogenated vegetable garbbage, right?
So my diet today was much cleaner than it has been & it will continue to get better.

Do you know the names of the Luckys she gave you? You sound like an Easy Rider or Classic Rider gal to me. :)
But if they don't work for ya, they don't.
I agree. I really love boyfriend fit jeans but have yet to find a pair with a rise that isn't too high.
And I HEART humus! Try the cracked red pepper variety.
Levi's at K-mart? Well, hey, that's my errand for tonight. I need some post-preggo jeans badly. I won't even venture near a Lucky store. I shop Ann Taylor Loft and wear the Julie fit. It is their feel better name for curvy, which is really their feel better name for chunky.
