10 miles in 1 hr, 53 min, 11 sec

That's the unofficial time.  I'm not sure what my official time is.  I wore my HRM & hit start when I crossed the starting line--which took me about 10 minutes to walk to from where I was lined up in the pack.  The crowd was fun.

I was so far from the starting line that I barely heard the horn.  When I crossed I got to see Philadelphia Mayor, Michael Nutter.  Big deal!

At City Hall (just over 5 miles), there was noise that Governor Ed Rendell was there.  I didn't see him.

I had to walk through the water/gatoraide station at just after 7 miles.  I needed the fluids.  I walked again after the 8 mile station.  But I didn't walk more than a minute at either point so I'm calling it

I RAN THE ENTIRE 10 MILES!!!

I came home & slept for 30 minutes.  I haven't showered yet.  I'm waiting for Erin to finish getting ready for work.  She needs to hurry--I can smell myself.  EWWWW

I'm going to Champp's for a burger & Messy Sundae!!!

ETA: My official time was 1 hour, 53 min, 06 seconds.  I came in 17,201 out of 19,111 finishers.  I came in 844 out of 955 in my age group (40-44).  I finished 7,977 out of 9,290 women finishers.  I must run faster next year.  Yeah, right.  Maybe.

Oh & my legs are KILLING ME.  In a very good way.
