I did 3.1 miles in 36 minutes 10 seconds, 5 miles in 56 minutes 9 seconds. Giving me an average speed of 11.23 miles an hour!!! And considering that I ran almost an hour I consider that to be FREAKING AWESOME!
I'm having to back off on the weight training. I managed to over train last week & ended up having to take a flexeril on Monday night because after 4 days I was still in considerable pain from all the work I did last week. My body is telling me that I can do weights occassionally & I need to do more yoga while I'm trying to train for this distance run.
John is thinking about trying to do the Philadelphia Distance Race with me. Guess he's tired of hearing me brag about my runs. LOL
