I haev this patient...

His name, FOR REAL, is Loveday. He is 53, only a year older than John, but looks like he's in his 60s. He scares me. He sends me emails calling me pretty lady, sweet thang, doll face. Today I received one that just simply said, "great smile."

He really creeps me out. Except that I am the only person qualified to brief this person IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING CLINIC so I can't blow him off. And sad thing is that if this was a coworker I'd have no problem saying, "you offend me." With a patient, it's an entirely different story. I don't at all.

Yikes. Please be careful. Does someone tag-team with you when you're with patients??

Can you have a chaperone sit in during the briefing?

Deb, this is workplace sexual harassment. Report it to your supervisor at once, and insist that something be done to remedy the situation, whether it be having a chaperone sit in on the briefings or bringing another person up to speed so you don't have to deal with this guy any more. You have a legal right to a safe workplace, and that means not being stalked or harassed by patients.
