I'm not kidding, burpees make me want to cry. I love them! Especially when they have squats thrown in. I am barely able to get through them when Wendy wants me to do 4 sets of 10 after doing 4 other exercises in a giant set. It's awesome how fast they can make me sweat.
I made it through the first giant set & had to stop tonight. I tried but I'm just too tired.
Beside probably still recovering from the run, I haven't slept well since we got Romeo. Little Man doesn't like the crate yet. He cries like he's being beat--I mean that high-pitched yelp. Last night out of desperation I stayed with him until he went to sleep--laid on the floor and let him chew my hand until he went out. Really. I'm pathetic. I went to bed, slept 2 hours, had to come back. That went on all night. Finally at 3:45 I fell asleep on the floor next to him.
This evening though he went in without a fight & slept for about an hour. I'm hoping that is the end of the long nights. We'll see.
Tomorrow will be a cardio night. If it's not raining I'm going to do some HIIT running. Not quite sprints but hard, fast runs.
I told Wendy (& didn't I mention it on Laura's blog) that Leanne is now on a mission to convince me to do a tri with her this summer. I have told her no. She doesn't understand that that kind of training isn't going to help me achieve my goals. I love her dearly but I'm not going to cave on this.
Okay, I'm going to bed. Good night.

Yea! For sticking to your guns on what type of training meets your goals!
Personally, I only think burpees get "easier"...not "easy". But ask Ms. Wendy who was doing them weighted for criminey's sake! Animal!! :)
