I took a Pepcid & felt better so we went out for a run. It was supposed to be 5 miles but we only got in 3.5 because the GPS quit & I thought we had done more. DOH Oh well, at least we did it.
I also got my upper body workout in.
I decided to wait to take pictures until next Saturday because I am bloated from the burger (that I only ate 3/4 of--still too much but will take Laura's advice next time).
Wendy sent my new eating plan on Friday. I spent 3 hours playing on Saturday before it clicked for me. Then it took me 20 minutes to plan 2 days!!! I have to say that I think the thing that made it click for me is that I was already following a similar plan but didn't know it.
I started out trying to make the foods I was eating fit into the macros. After reading Wendy's instructions for something like the fifteenth time I realized that I needed to reduce the amount I was eating on day 1. Once I got that it was EASY!!! I am on a mission to plan 6 days & rotate them. I have 4 days planned. Go me!
I am going to have to get used to eating this way. I'm STARVING today. Even John noticed that the bag I take my food to work in was considerably lighter. Who would've thought that 1 oz would make that much difference but it does.
I was hoping to have a pumpkin pie smoothie after working out tonight but the commissary doesn't have pumpkin. Pumpkin pie mix yes, but not pumpkin. Sigh. I'll have to wait to go to Shop Rite on Thursday.
I also found that I can have some different snacks--chocolate rice cakes, for example. I picked up a couple bags of Quaker multigrain minis--they are potato chip sized rice cakes. I tried one this morning--they are little potato chip sized rice cakes. I bought graham cracker flavored & apple cinnamon. I can't wait to have them. Sad, isn't it?
Tonight is leg night. Gonna be a good one.
