Still very congested but feeling better...
I'm hoping to do something workout-wise tomorrow. I'm thinking something plyo leg HIIT. Here's what I'm planning:
60 second go/60 second rest
jump squats
plyo lunges ala Cathe
box jumps (trying 14 inchest)
jumping jacks
jump rope
jump tucks
jump shot ala Tony in plyo x
jump squats
box jumps
plyo lunges ala Cathe
Had a funny, boy-do-I-feel-old experience today...I've reached a point where I need reading glasses (won't go bifocals!!!). John & I went to Target & went to the "reading glasses isle." When we got there we found 2 20-something boys wearing Santa hats. They were looking for glasses that would represent Santa. John said, "going to a Christmas party?" The answer, "no, going on a pub crawl." I laughed, "Ah, Running with the Santas." Sadly, the young men looked at me as though I was out of my mind but responded with a resounding, "Yea!" As they walked away, I told them to have a beer & say Hi to Preston & Steve for me. So, what? Is 43 too old to listen to rock??? WTF?
Still no money. John has decided to tell the manager of the project that he's not going back after Christmas because the company isn't paying his hotel bills & we just can't afford it anymore. We'll see how that goes over. My fear is that they won't pay him at all. It's fucking ridiculous.

Just this year I have noticed that I have to hold bottles at just the right distance to be able to read the labels. Sigh. I've had glasses since 10 and contacts since 13. Not emotionally ready for the reading glasses, but my eyes seem to be. :(
I think your strategy re: payment for travel is worth a shot. That is ridiculous!
