I did my official 25th of the month (2 months from when I started) weigh in this morning. I am down to 158 (down 1 lb from last week); 10 lbs from when I cried out for help. Thank you, Wendy. I think I'm finally getting it.
I'm starting to feel better about the slow pace because I think I will maintain it better when I hit goal. I took my measurements, too. I'm doing really well!!!
Waist 30" (down 2.5" since starting on 22 Sept)
Hips 39.75 (down 2.25")
Left thigh 24.25
Right thigh 24.75
Underboob 31
Under arm 33.5
Left bicep 12.75
Right bicep 12.75
Belly 34.75 (this is actually bigger but it's also right at the end of TTOM)
The funniest part about this is that I was bored last week & got on the scale on the day I started. I am probably the only woman in the entire world that does not gain water weight in the first days...I was down to 156 that day. Very bazaar. I figure that I must be getting ready to lose more weight. Way cool.
I'm a little afraid that Thursday is going to do me in. I'm just not going to think about it. I'm taking early precautions--working out more this week. Whatever happens, happens.
Today I did 2 miles on the treadmill. I was going to do 45 minutes steady state but my calf started to bother me & I didn't want to have a set back & I still have to do weights tonight.
Can't wait.
Finally--a question--
When I read the nutritional info on whole grain pasta the box says a serving size is 2 oz (or 56 grams). I presume that's dry, yes? If not, 2 oz cooked is crazy little to eat! LOL
