Vacation & here we go again

I have spent the morning slicing, dicing, & packing for our trip. I'm bringing my own vegetables & a chicken from Costco--cut up & ready to eat. I bought some turkey breast & eye round for sandwiches. I'm going to EAT CLEAN while I'm away.

I've decided that I am going to have a little (VERY little) bit of cake. I have to treat myself. Right? And it will be a treat.

I'm bringing Eionn Finn & my jump rope. I figure even if the fitness center isn't what I need I can still do stuff to stay on track.

I'll probably be in & out of here today...

I think I posted that Christine (John's sister) put Serge in a home up on Cape Cod. I think I posted that she did that at the eleventh hour before he was supposed to move here. I think I posted that was allowed the nursing home to take Serge off his meds. And, finally, I think I posted that she has started making noise again about us finding a place down here.

John got a call at work from Christine today. Serge is pissing her off. He wants the keys to his car. He wants to move back to the condo. He wants to move his investments because of the stock market crash.

She told John that she wants him to look for a place that will take him in our area. John sent me an email telling me that he's just going to ignore her request.

That completely pisses me off. It's his typical, passive-aggressive behavior. I hate that in him. He needs to stop it.

Rant over. For now.

Gotta go pack some more.

And finally...

I finished packing. I am ready to take a break from every day life. It will be good to just sit & chill for 75% of the day.

I just finished 30 minutes on my bike. It wish I wasn't afraid it will fall off the pedestal. I would be able to go fasster.

I had a thought while I was riding...this is actually pretty good training for the tri I want to do again next August. But my first goal is to get my body back & it's going to take weights to do that.

I don't know if I'll check in tomorrow. If not, I'll "see" you next weekend.
