Rose, you aren't the first person to recommend hummus for additional protein. Here's the thing...I've got 4 different kinds of all-natural hummus in the refrigerator. Not one of them has more than 1 g protein. What up with that???
Meals are going pretty well so far. I've hit my fat by eating too many almonds. I still have some room but not much. That's okay--I'm having a protein shake with fat free yogurt & strawberries for my snack tonight.
I'm going to jump rope tonight--again. And then do some yoga.

1 sweet potatoe julian & baked like french fries (yummy)
1 c broccoli
1 c cauliflower
Snack
Designer Whey Chocolate
1 c plain ff yogurt
1 cup strawberries
2 stevia
1425 calories
145 g protein (38%)
131 carbs (34%)
44 g fat (26%)
You would think with all the bread I had today, I would have had more carbs but NOOOOO. Need to eat a salad with that sandwich. I just didn't feel like it today.
Oh & just finished Kettlebell Goddess--Nike (I think). WTF is up with those rolling deck squats??? I can't even get off the floor!!! I just ended up laying on my floor laughing my ass off! It was a good workout though & gave me a good idea of what my shoulder can do. I used a 5 lb dumbbell & had no trouble at all.
The only thing that upset me is that my left shoulder (the one I had surgery on) now has a terrible snap, crackle, pop to it that my right shoulder does not. It didn't make these noses before my surgery & only made them during the warm-up arm circles. That's just wrong! It doesn't hurt--it just makes noise.

The shoulder noise is annoying but if it doesn't hurt you're probably OK. Lots of my clients have noisy shoulders and mine tends to pop a lot when I do incline chest press.
